Manufacturing Operator - Full-Time/Hourly

Must be a "team player" and exhibit a positive attitude. This is an entry level position with the opportunity for rapid advancement, as we will invest in your growth and development.

R&D Lab Technician - Full-Time/Hourly

This is an entry level position. The R&D Laboratory Technician has primary responsibilities to perform laboratory tests, procedures, and to provide support in various areas as needed.

Responsibilities and Capabilities Include:

The employee works in a learning capacity while performing a range of laboratory technician assignments under close supervision.

The functions within this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs routine laboratory procedures such as: preparation of raw materials, weighing, mixing, milling, extrusion, and compression molding.
  • Conducts a variety of routine laboratory tests using standard testing procedures such as: Specific Gravity, Oscillating Disc Rheometer, MDR viscosity, Physical Properties, Hot Creep Elongation, Hot Set, Melt Flow Index, and Limiting Oxygen Index.
  • Assists more experienced personnel in performing more complex testing procedures.
  • Maintain laboratory records.
  • Maintain a clean work area, equipment, and instruments in accordance with standard laboratory practice and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education - High school diploma or GED with some post-high school education or experience preferred.

Preferred Skills 

  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Strong computer and math skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Physical Demands:

  • Normal laboratory requirements, must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Be comfortable with handling laboratory/ compounding materials.
